Concetta Faga Massa Concetta (Yetta) Massa, 86 of Utica died peacefully in the care of her extended loving family on November 25th, 2011. Yetta was born in Utica NY on October 4th, 1925, the daughter of Caroline Sacco Faga and Antonio Faga. She was educated at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel School and T. R. Proctor High School. Yetta was the most kind, compassionate and generous person. Her gestures of kindness were felt by all of those who knew her. Yetta had great loyalty and regard for family, traditions and celebrations, and fully engaged with everyone around her on a daily basis. She was employed by the city of Utica, in the City Clerk's Office, for many years. She enjoyed her job and developed many lasting relationships within the workplace. Yetta is survived by two daughters Rose Marasco of Portland, Maine and Anne Marasco Lowenkopf of Waterville, N.Y.; and two grandchildren Erika and Ernest Lowenkopf. She is also survived by her sister Philomena Talarico, sister in-law Josephine Faga, and members of the Marasco, Sbiroli, and Massa families. Also surviving are many special nieces and nephews and their families, whose relationships she cherished and enjoyed. She leaves her devoted cousins who demonstrated much compassion to her during her illness; loyal friends who expressed their warmth and kindness throughout her life, especially this past year. Yetta was pre-deceased by her two brothers, Louis and Dominick Faga, her brother in-law, Charles Talarico and her sister in-law Louise Faga. Her mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 2:00p.m. November 28th, 2011 at St Anthony / St Agnes Church, Utica, N.Y. where the Rev. Anthony P. La Fache, Pastor will officiate. Friends may call at the church from 1-2p.m. prior to the mass. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at St. Agnes Cemetery. Arrangements under the guidance of John L.
