Clifford D.
DeRosia
June 10, 2026
In Loving Memory of Clifford D. DeRosia, 75, who passed away on June 10th, 2026, leaving behind family, friends, and several unfinished conversations that he never intended to have in the first place.
A man of few words, he firmly believed that if something could be said in three words, there was no reason to use four. He spent a lifetime perfecting the subtle nod, the raised eyebrow, and the legendary grunt, which somehow conveyed entire paragraphs to those who knew him best.
While others filled silence with chatter, Cliff treated silence as one of life's greatest gifts. Family members often found themselves carrying on full conversations while he contributed an occasional "Yep," "Nope," or "We'll see." Remarkably, everyone knew exactly what he meant.
He was a hardworking man who showed his love through actions, not speeches. If he helped you fix something, gave you advice, or quietly showed up when you needed him, that was his version of saying "I love you." And if he teased you relentlessly, that probably meant he liked you even more.
He took pride in simple pleasures, valued common sense, and had little patience for unnecessary drama. He could solve problems with duct tape, determination, and a level of confidence that relegated instruction manuals to mere suggestions.
He leaves behind a family who loved him dearly and who will miss his quiet strength, his dry sense of humor, and the comforting certainty that no matter how complicated life became, he'd probably summarize the solution in two words.
In honor of Cliff, please keep any speeches brief. He would have wanted it that way.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Grace, children Rick (Tina), Donna (Howie), Cliff (Jess), and Jessica, and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Dorothy, brother Mike and sister in-law Carol.
Though his words were few, his love was loud enough for a lifetime.
