Clara B. Gleason,95, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. Born on October 13, 1929, in Clifton, NJ, she was the daughter of Michael and Anna (Kopec) Borowiec who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her husband Donald, daughter Kathleen Cipolla, and brothers Norman, Izzy and Russell. She is survived by her sister, Norma Lockwood. In addition, she is survived by her sons Michael (Eileen) Gleason and Timothy (Jean) Gleason as well as daughters Joan and Sue Gleason, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Clara was raised in New Jersey and metro NYC graduating from Morris High School and attended Geneseo State College, graduating in 1951. She taught elementary school in Avoca, NY before turning her attention to the raising of her family. She was a long time member of the Warsaw United Methodist Church and a faithful member of the Christian community. Burial will be at Mt Hope Cemetery in Troupsburg, NY at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the guidance of John L Matt Funeral Home,  Chadwicks, NY.
