Charles S. Pratt, 65, passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2022, at St Elizabeth's Medical Center.

Chip was born in New Hartford on December 1, 1956, to the late Frank G. Pratt, Sr. and Dorothy Conway Pratt. He graduated from New Hartford Central School and from Bryant College in Rhode Island.  After pursuing missionary work on the Island of Bon Aire, he returned to the Utica area and worked in his father's law office and in the family rental business. He was a licensed real estate agent who enjoyed skiing and target shooting.

Chip is survived by two daughters,  Shamariah Pratt, Syracuse, and Moriah (Keith) Norton, Corinth, and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Dr. Frank G. (Suzanne) Pratt, Jr., two sisters Katherine (Terry) Hawkridge, and Lesley (Sally Sterago) Pratt, and sister-in-law Jan Pratt. He was  predeceased by his parents and two brothers, James and infant Gregory. He was a parishioner at Living Hope Ministries and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday June 17 ,2022 at Living Hope Ministries ,1414 Herkimer Rd. Utica,NY 13502 where Pastor Shirley D"Agostino will officiate.  Interment will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the guidance of the John L Matt Funeral Home, Chadwicks,NY.
