Brenda Ely's Obituary
Brenda L. Ely, 62, of Canastota, NY departed this life peacefully at Oneida Hospital on Monday October 19,2020.
She was born In New Berlin,NY the daughter of the late Gerald L. Rood, Sr. and Joyce M. kimball Rood, she attended Westmoreland High School.
Brenda is survived by three sisters; Sherry L. Reed, McGraw NY; Linda Rood, Rome,NY; and Sharron Rood, Vernon,NY.
She also has three nieces; Shannon Boris, Rome,NY Brianna Kaiser, Ring Gold, GA; Heather Ganoung, Cortland,N.Y.
Also surviving are many more nieces and nephews, and her long time companion Freddy Johansen, Canastota, NY. She was predeceased by her siblings; Barbara Kaiser and Gerald L. Rood, Jr.
Brenda loved her home cooking, gardening and her little dog Maggie.
She was truly loved, and will be missed. May you rest in peace my sister, all my love.
As per her request there will be no services. Her family will honor her at a private time at a later date.
