Obituary

Beverly Pugliese Zdeb age 87, of Utica, New York, passed away on April 6, 2023.
Beverly was born in Utica, New York, daughter of the late Anthony and Rachel Forte Pugliese.
She was born, raised and educated in Utica. On July 16, 1955 Beverly was united in marriage to Anthony Zdeb of Utica, New York.  Tony passed away on October 3, 1982.
Beverly is survived by her children: Anthony and Angela  Zdeb; Laurie and Mark Bates; Lisa Liskiewicz and James Finnegan. In addition, she is survived by grandchildren, Keith and Amanda Bates and their children Easton, Kreigh and Julia. Grandson Anthony (AJ) Bates and Logan Hamilton; sister in-law Barbara Graham.
Beverly worked in the Utica school system for many years. She also worked for MetLife.
She retired from Midyork library system.
Beverly leaves behind many cherished friends and relatives including her dear friend Linda Wells, her fatties club friends and former co-workers.
Beverly was predeceased by her brother Carmen Pugliese and his son Thomas. Brother and sister in-law Robert and Dorothy Lafferty.
A prayer service will be held Saturday April 29,2023 at 11 a.m. at Mary, Mother of Our Parish Church, 2222 Genesee St. Utica, NY. Arrangements are under the guidance of John L Matt Funeral Home, Chadwicks, NY. To send an online greeting go to www.johnlmattfuneralhome.com
