Obituary



Mr. Anthony J. "Tony" Orsaio, 85 of Utica entered into rest on December 6, 2016 with his loved ones by his side.

He was Born in Utica, NY the son of the late Peter and Angeline (Rosila) Orsaio and attended local schools. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

Tony was united in marriage to Patricia Comito on June 23, 1956; she passed in 2008.  For many years he worked as a supply administrator at Griffiss Air Force Base retiring in 1985.He was an avid gardener, was proud of his Italian heritage, loved to bake,  was a witty storyteller, and will now be reunited with the love of his life, Patty.

He will be sadly missed by his family; his two daughters Lynnette Sorbello, of Oneida, NY and Lorri Edicola and husband John, of Holly Springs, NC; his one son Anthony Orsaio and his wife Yuri, of Utica.

Also surviving are; his grandchildren Jill Gisondo, Jon Edicola, Justin Edicola and wife Grace, and Katharine Orsaio; his beloved great grandson Nicholas J. Edicola; his brother John Orsaio and wife Mary.
He was predeceased by Pat and Sally Orsaio, Elizabeth and Fred Yozzo, Kay and Art DelMedico, Joe Comito, Peter and Delores Liuzzi, Lucille and Stanley Kuznia, Alice Liuzzi, and Helen O'Brien.

Anthony's celebration of life will be held at St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church on Saturday December 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. The family will greet guests in the vestibule of the church after the mass. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery.
