Anthony L. Lyons was called home to rest Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Anthony loved life. He loved to laugh and make those around him laugh. He was a Dallas Cowboys and New York Knicks fan and enjoyed watching the games with friends.

Anthony was born in Oxford, North Carolina, the son of Catherine Kingsbury Lyons and the late Freddie Lee Lyons. He received his education in North Carolina and came to the Utica area, where he worked as a forklift operator.

Anthony is survived by his son De Andre Pelham Lyons, his mother Catherine Lyons, brother Freddie Lyons, sister Cathy Lyons, a niece Chaquana Lyons, nephew Fredrick Lyons and cousins Tawanda Carter, Jacquedda Valadez and Joy Morreale. He was predeceased by his father Freddy Lee Lyons and sister Deborah Lyons.

Family and friends are invited to call Sunday Oct. 15,2017 from 4p.m.-5p.m. at the John L Matt Funeral Home,3309 Oneida St. Chadwicks- New Hartford,NY
