Mr. Anthony J. "Tony" Carlo, aged 86, of New Hartford, NY, passed away on April 20, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Utica, NY, Tony was the son of the late Samuel and Julia (Caputo) Carlo. He attended local schools before enlisting in the US Army in 1957, serving honorably until 1963.

On September 18, 1965, Tony married Sylvia Surace, and they shared a loving marriage for 61 years. Tony worked as a machinist at Sperry Rand and Univac and was last employed with Indium Corporation.

He is survived by his beloved wife Sylvia, daughters Kristyn and Pamela Carlo, son Anthony Carlo, grandson Richard "Rick" Sullivan, and sister Marie LaPolla and her son Samuel P. LaPolla his Godchild. He was predeceased by his brother Philip Ferrio,1970 his brother in law Samuel J. LaPolla, 2009.

A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Anthony - St Agnes Church, 422 Tilden Ave., Utica, NY, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev.
