Mrs. Anna Stopera Utica Mrs. Anna Stopera, 95, a resident of the Martin Luther Home entered into rest Saturday, July 7, 2007, with her daughter by her side. She was born in Utica, NY, the daughter of the late Frank and Catherine Rodzinka. She was educated in local schools. In 1933 she was married to Walter Stopera a loving marriage until his death in 1944. Mrs. Stopera was a nurse's aid at Utica State Hospital and Masonic Care Community until her retirement in the 1980's. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church, and the St. Ann Society and the Polish Community Club. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Barbara Salerno, Whitesboro, NY; her two grandsons and their wives, Dennis and Nadine Strassberger, Aliso Viejo, CA, Steven and Charlene Strassberger, Lynn Haven, FL. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Anna's Funeral will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at 9:30 a.m. under the direction of John L. Matt, Jr. Funeral Director- Francis W. Fisk Funeral Home, 3309 Oneida St., Chadwicks, NY, and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
