Angela Storey, affectionately known as Angie, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2026, at Sitrin Home following a long battle with cancer.

In 1960, Angie met her husband, John Storey, on a blind date. The two married in 1962 and recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary.
Angie worked as a nurse’s aide at Perry Junior High, where she was loved by all the students. She retired in 2006. Angie’s greatest happiness came from her family. She loved cooking and bringing people together. The bond Angie shared with her sisters, Joann and Linda, was truly special. The three shared a lifelong closeness and a friendship that meant the world to each of them.
Cooking was one of the ways Angie showed her love. Her home was always open to family and friends, and no one ever left hungry. She carried on her mother’s Italian traditions and created lasting family memories. Christmas Eve at Grandma Angie’s was a favorite memory for all her grandkids.
Angie is survived by her beloved husband, John; their three children, Lisa Cardoso and her husband, Joe;David Storey and his wife, Kim; and Dawn Martinelli and her husband, Vinny.
She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Billy Farrell, Nicole Storey, Kristofer Martinelli and his wife,Kelly, Ashley Farrell, Kaprice Pierce and her husband, Jeffrey, and Davis Storey. Her three great-grandchildren, Chase, Colbie, and Drew, became the light of her life.
Angie is also survived by her sister, Joann Palumbo, and her husband, Joe, along with her much-loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her dear sister, Linda Sokolowski, whose husband, Fred, survives her.
Angie will be remembered for her deep love of family, her generosity, and the special way she brought people together. The love she gave and the memories she created will last forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
