Adeline (Rosati) Stamboly, 80 of Utica, NY, departed this life, Thursday, February 13, 2014, with her loved ones at her side. Born in Utica, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Giovanna (Curto) Rosati. She was the loving wife of William Stamboly for 60 years. Addie worked with Bill for years at the grocery business at the corner of Seymour and Eagle St. Adeline was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who adored her family. She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband, William "Billy"; her children, William Stamboly and wife Christina, Joanna Demma and husband John, Cynthia Peters and husband James; her grandchildren, Anthony and Laura Stamboly, John, Kelly, Jamie and Jene' Demma, Joseph, Lindsey and Alyssa Peters; her great grandchildren, Adrian Stamboly, John III and Grace Demma. She also leaves her brothers, Anthony Rosati and wife Mary, Rocco Rosati and wife Delores; her brother-in-law, Nicholas Altieri; sister-in-law Priscilla Rosati, her brothers and sisters-in-laws, Basil and Lois Stamboly, Mary Murad, Evelyn and Eli Casper, Lorraine Tedesco, Eleanor Steppello, Ronald Stamboly, Michael Stamboly, Virginia and Louis De Gironemo, and many nieces and nephews, whom she loved. She was predeceased by her sisters, Alice and James Delitto Mary Altieri, and her brother Chrisenzo Rosati. As per Addie's request, there are no calling hours. Addie's Celebration of life will be on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at 10 a.m., at St. Anthony/St Agnes church, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mark Kaminski. Upon conclusion of the mass, the family will greet visitors at the vestibule of the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
